This year we had to cancel our Alaska trip due to Covid, but an opportunity to travel to Årøy presented itself. Caught two 10kg salmon and set new personal best for Atlantics 🤟

Canada 2019
The yearly fishing trip, this year at the Bulkley river in British Columbia. Shot on the Panasonic GH-5, DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and some GoPro.
Alaska 2018
For this years fishing trip to Alaska, I opted to upgrade my GoPro to a Panasonic GH-5 with Leica 12-60mm lense package at the local Best Buy. This would then accompany the Mavic drone footage. We had a couple sunny days for flying the drone, but really surprised how good the GH-5 footage turned out in the final edit, even on cloudy days.
Surf Jæren
Yesterday turned out to be a crisp, sunny, minus 5 degrees day with an awesome swell. I took the Mavic out for a spin before a 2 hour session at Steinen.
Fall is coming
The house build is underway, and I’m trying to capture the build with my DJI Mavic every few days, in the hope of putting together a timelapse of the whole build.
Some mornings are nicer than others.
Flyfishing in Alaska
Caught my two biggest King salmon ever on the last two days, took a while to reel those tanks in!
Our third time at Alaska West and Kanektok river, and I brought my Phantom drone this time for a new perspective on this amazing fishery full of King Salmon, Sockeye, Chums, Dollies, Rainbow Trout and more.

Heading to Alaska

I’m flying out to Alaska tomorrow for another epic fishing trip. I’ll be bringing my Phantom drone this time, hoping for some epic aerial shots of fishing and maybe some wildlife. Here is the video from two years ago.
Norwegian nature at its best

WooConf – State of the Woo
Matt Mullenweg kicked off WooConf 2016 in Austin, and gave a good overview of the State of the Woo. Still waiting to hear the story behind the green hair-do.
Surfing Reve Havn
December 7th was a calm day after one of the most rainy storms in 50 years. Reve Havn had some nice 3-7ft waves rolling in with water temperature about 6 degrees celcius, perfect for winter surfing.
